Why this conversation

The value of insight is the action it changes.

A report can explain a workforce problem after the choices that created it have already been made. The harder task is to connect the early signals to a business decision, identify who needs to act and put the evidence in front of them at the right time.

This roundtable examines what keeps HR responding downstream, from access to data and unclear ownership to the way evidence is presented. Leaders and specialists will compare how to move from describing the consequences to influencing the choices behind them.

Around the table

Four questions to put on the table.

01

The signals that demand action

Which changes in capability, capacity, attrition or workload should reach leaders earlier, and how do we distinguish a warning from noise?

02

Evidence that changes the decision

How do we connect workforce insight to a live choice about investment, growth, structure or performance?

03

Why HR remains downstream

Where do timing, access, ownership or relationships leave HR dealing with the consequences of a decision it could have helped shape?

04

A stronger route to influence

What needs to change so the right people see the evidence while they still have options, and take responsibility for acting on it?

Who should be in the room

The people connecting workforce evidence to business decisions.

For People leaders and those responsible for HR technology, HRIS, people systems and workforce data.

This conversation is particularly relevant if you advise business leaders, lead people analytics or workforce planning, or own the reporting and systems behind workforce decisions. It brings those who produce the evidence together with those responsible for making it count.

  • Responsibility for People strategy, analytics, planning or workforce reporting
  • A business decision that needs an earlier view of people risk or opportunity
  • Experience of turning evidence into leadership action
